DEEPFAKE examines the cultural and emotional impact of this emerging synthetic media. From AI-powered memorials to non-consensual pornography, it looks at what happens when a likeness can be taken and a record rewritten without anyone’s consent. Our bodies are no longer private, they are programmable. It is presented with a live installation that deepfakes visitors in real time, so they watch it happen to their own face.
