DESCRIPTION:Global Artivism\, a Global Majority-led movement that engages t

 tracting a Governance Fellow for a mentored\, time-limited engagement focu
 sed on governance systems\, democratic institutional design\, and Global M
 ajority-led movement infrastructure. The contractor supports the developme
 nt and maintenance of Global Artivism's governance architecture\, includin
 g documentation\, committee coordination\, and research that supports the 
 Democratic Transition process\, and is expected to take initiative on assi
 gned tasks and grow through structured mentorship. The movement is governe
 d by a Global Council with a Movement Secretariat coordination team\; the 
 Fellow coordinates primarily with the Governance Lead alongside the Operat
 ions Director\, Secretariat members\, and Council committees (coordination
  relationships do not constitute supervisory authority). KEY RESPONSIBILIT
 IES: governance documentation (frameworks\, committee charters\, terms of 
 reference\, process documentation\; maintaining an organized\, current\, c
 onsistently formatted document library\; preparing materials for Global Co
 uncil meetings)\; committee coordination (scheduling\, materials\, meeting
  notes\, follow-up\, trackers of decisions and action items\, agendas and 
 briefing packs)\; Democratic Transition and electoral process support (res
 earch on governance models\, electoral processes\, and democratic particip
 ation mechanisms\; drafting materials for the Democratic Transition Roadma
 p 2025-2027\; preparing electoral framework and testing documentation\; tr
 acking milestones)\; and governance research (comparative analyses and bri
 efing notes\; staying current on distributed governance\, participatory de
 mocracy\, and decentralized leadership\; contributing to knowledge product
 s). REQUIRED: manages multiple documentation tasks and meets deadlines wit
 h attention to accuracy and formatting (experience via union organizing\, 
 participatory facilitation\, cooperative governance\, or community-based d
 ecision-making counts alongside academic or formal work history)\; good wr
 itten English\; ability to take initiative and work independently\; genuin

 used on organizational infrastructure and systems design. Working alongsid
 e the Operations Director\, the contractor designs operational frameworks 
 spanning financial workflows\, contractor management\, governance alignmen
 t\, and onboarding\, contributing directly to infrastructure decisions whi
 le building practical experience in how a Global Majority-led movement org
 anization functions operationally. The Fellow coordinates primarily with t
 he Operations Director alongside the Governance Lead\, Project Manager\, A
 dmin Coordinator\, and Secretariat members (coordination relationships do 
 not constitute supervisory authority\; decision-making is distributed thro
 ugh governance structures and committees). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: infrastru
 cture design and framework development (designing and documenting operatio
 nal frameworks\; contributing to staffing models\, organizational structur
