FILE (Electronic Language International Festival) in Sao Paulo is Latin America's leading electronic and media art festival, with recent editions explicitly foregrounding AI art. Entry is free and international. CALL NOT YET OPEN: the FILE 2026 call closed 19 February 2026; the 2027 call is expected around December 2026 to February 2027.
The CIFO x Ars Electronica Awards support Latin American artists working in media art, with USD 45,000 distributed across awardees and an exhibition at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz.
