culture360.ASEF.org, the arts platform of the Asia-Europe Foundation, invites proposals from writers and content producers for its open call 'Arts in the Wake of AI': articles, podcasts and video interviews that foreground how cultural professionals and organisations across Asia and Europe are adapting to AI technologies, from generative tools and machine learning to recommender systems and algorithms. WHAT THEY WANT: case-study-based contributions grounded in real-world evidence, experiences or practices, on topics including the impact of AI on cultural diversity, fairness and inclusivity; the environmental costs of AI in the cultural sector; and AI governance in the cultural sector (policy, copyright, intellectual property and the ethical use of AI-generated cultural content). Academic research papers and non-arts subjects are not considered. FEE: SGD 250 per commissioned article, podcast or video interview. FORMATS: journalistic articles of 800 to 1,000 words with at least four credited images; podcasts and video interviews of 15 to 20 minutes. ELIGIBILITY: nationals of ASEM partner countries with previous experience in writing, podcasting or video production, proficiency in English, and knowledge of or involvement in the Asian and European arts and culture scene; an existing channel for further dissemination is an advantage; the work is fully virtual. ONX Seeds 2026 is a four-month incubation and seed funding program run by Onassis ONX, the Onassis Foundation's platform for art and advanced technologies, hosted in Athens in a hybrid format under the theme Soft Circuits for Hard Times. It invites emerging artists, creative technologists, designers, game makers, performers, sound and visual artists and makers (individuals, groups and collectives, Greek and international) to develop early-stage prototypes that make the digital tangible: interactive objects, wearable or embedded systems, screen-based worlds, participatory environments, games, rituals, sonic works, moving images and hybrid analogue-digital forms. Proposals should be realistic in scope and result in an exhibitable prototype. SUPPORT: EUR 1,000 to 5,000 seed funding per project, weekly technical mentoring plus curatorial and business mentoring and online masterclasses, studio and equipment access at Onassis Ready for Athens-based teams (remote participation for everyone else), presentation at ONX Exhibition Athens (17 to 21 March 2027) with travel, accommodation and artwork transport covered for non-Athens participants, and connections to the ONX network in Athens, New York and beyond. Sheer Spite Press, a Montreal-based independent press running since 2024, is open for submissions of zines to be distributed digitally as PDFs through its new digital distro (no print at this time). PRIORITIZING work that is long, text-centric, passionate, personal, anti-authoritarian and accessible (probably not poetry), on topics like community care, friendship, history, food, sex and kink, memoir, DIY and adventures. TERMS: the press sells your PDFs, you choose your own pricing and keep up to 80 percent of sales, paid quarterly (very modest sums expected); distribution is non-exclusive, so you can keep selling your zines anywhere else. Note this is a revenue-share distribution arrangement, not a grant or stipend. Submit via the CryptPad form linked from the call; questions to lee@sheerspite.ca. No submission fee.
