The Fluxus Prize at Art Basel Paris, from Fluxus Art Projects, supports talent from the British art scene and promotes its visibility internationally, honouring the relationship between artists and their galleries: the EUR 15,000 prize is shared between the two. This edition is supported by Belinda de Gaudemar and Laurent Issaurat. WHO APPLIES: galleries of any nationality exhibiting at Art Basel Paris 2026 in the Galleries or Premise sectors, presenting the work of one British or UK-based artist; artists cannot apply directly. HOW TO APPLY: by email to visual.arts[at]institut-francais.org.uk with gallery contact information, the artist's name and number of works presented, an artist biography (200 words), a gallery description (200 words) and 1 to 2 images. La Résidence of the Festival de Cannes (part of Cinéma de Demain, formerly La Cinéfondation) invites 12 directors each year to write their screenplay in Paris. The programme provides a place of residence in the heart of Paris, a personalised programme accompanying the writing of their scripts, and a collective programme of forums with film industry professionals. The 12 directors from the two annual sessions present their projects at the CNC pavilion in Cannes, giving 10-minute presentations to an audience of professionals and a jury of three film industry personalities; the CNC then awards a EUR 5,000 grant to one director from each session, based on the project that most inspires the jury. The Cinef & Résidence offices serve as a hub where directors meet and schedule private meetings with potential producers. ELIGIBILITY: open to young filmmakers who have made one or several short films and no more than one feature film; candidates must NOT be residents or citizens of France. Selected filmmakers must stay at the Résidence in Paris for the full session. SESSIONS: two per year, each lasting four and a half months, the first running 15 March to 31 July and the second 1 October to 15 February. Artistic fields: film, writing, interdisciplinary. Call for short films (1-10 minutes) involving human/AI hybrid creation, from the We Are Human Foundation in Paris. Three cash awards: Grand Prix EUR 5,000, Best Screenplay EUR 3,000, and an Ethics Award EUR 2,000. ELIGIBILITY: international, applicants 18+; films must have been completed after 1 June 2025 and involve human/AI hybrid creation; a mandatory Ethics Notebook accompanies each submission. Columbia University's Institute for Ideas and Imagination brings a cohort of scholars and artists to Reid Hall in Paris for an academic year (September 2027 to May 2028), with a USD 75,000 stipend, housing, and research support. The creative-arts category explicitly includes visual and sound arts and film alongside writing and composition. ELIGIBILITY: any nationality, but artists must not be permanently residentent in the United States (Netherlands-based artists qualify). Deadline 30 September 2026.
The Supporting Act Foundation, the charitable foundation established by WeTransfer, awards ten unrestricted Artist Grants of EUR 10,000 to emerging artists from underrepresented groups whose work involves collaborative, collective or creative processes that benefit their communities. The grant is paid as EUR 1,000 per month over one year and can be used freely; applicants should explain how it would help them overcome economic, social, cultural, physical or health barriers to their practice. ELIGIBILITY: identify as an emerging artist with at least two and no more than ten years of professional experience; identify as belonging to an underrepresented group or face systemic barriers to your career; be born in or before 2005; be based in Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain or the United Kingdom with a personal IBAN bank account there; and have an updated website or public social media profile. Former and current TSAF grantees cannot apply. TIMELINE: applications close 1 October 2026 at 11:00 CET, notifications go to all applicants in late October 2026, shortlisted applicants get a final review in November 2026, and the public announcement and first transfer follow in January 2027. The Supporting Act Foundation, the charitable foundation established by WeTransfer, awards ten unrestricted Impact Grants of EUR 50,000 (EUR 25,000 per year over two years) to arts-focused nonprofits that empower emerging artists from underrepresented groups through non-financial support: improving artists' living conditions, enabling practice development, increasing the visibility of their work and building their confidence. ELIGIBILITY: nonprofits registered as arts organizations between 2016 and 2024, based in Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain or the United Kingdom, or working with a fiscal host in one of these countries; annual expenditures between EUR 50,000 and EUR 300,000; an active website demonstrating supported projects; and an IBAN bank account. Individuals, commercial entities, current or past TSAF grantees, and proposals for ongoing projects rather than established organizations are not eligible. TIMELINE: applications close 1 October 2026 at 11:00 CET, are reviewed in October, notifications go out in late October 2026, shortlisted organizations get a final review in November 2026, and the public announcement and first installment follow in January 2027. The Camargo Foundation invites artists, scholars and thinkers to its flagship Core Fellowship: a ten-week self-directed residency on its clifftop campus overlooking the Mediterranean in Cassis, France, dedicated to research, experimentation and interdisciplinary exchange. Curators apply under the Thinkers category, which covers accomplished professionals and practitioners in cultural and creative fields who are professionally engaged in critical thought, including curators, critics and journalists; projects should engage theoretical, artistic or societal questions. WHAT YOU GET: a stipend of EUR 350 per week (EUR 3,500 total), basic transportation funding, and a furnished apartment with an equipped kitchen on campus. Fourteen fellowships are awarded per year: seven for artists and seven for scholars and thinkers. RESIDENCY PERIODS: Fall 2027 (8 September to 17 November 2027) or Spring 2028 (23 February to 4 May 2028). ELIGIBILITY: artists in visual arts, performance, writing, film, music or multidisciplinary work with at least 5 years of professional practice; scholars holding or pursuing a PhD focused on French and Francophone cultures or cross-cultural Mediterranean studies; and thinkers as described above. APPLICATION: via Submittable with a 100-word proposal summary, a 1,200-word proposal narrative, a 300-word rationale for Camargo, a 300-word career-stage rationale, a CV (max 3 pages), work samples and two references. NOTE: the foundation has announced that this is the final Fellowship selected through a public open call until further notice; a new selection process begins in July 2027, making this the last chance to apply directly.
The 7th call of the Art Explora residency programme at the Cité internationale des arts opened 21 September 2026. The programme supports projects exploring the crossovers of art with science, technology and ecology, which makes it one of the stronger art-science fits in Europe. Residents receive a furnished live-work studio of around 50 m2 in Paris, EUR 1,000 per month living stipend, up to EUR 3,000 production budget, round-trip travel and mentoring, with residencies of 3 or 6 months for solo artists and 3 months for duos of an artist with a researcher, curator or writer. Open to visual, performing and digital artists of all nationalities and ages with at least 5 years of professional experience and an international exhibition record. The European Media Art Platform (EMAP/EMARE) is a network of leading European media-art organisations offering fully funded two-month production residencies for artists working with digital media, including media art, bio art and robotic art. Each residency provides a EUR 4,000 grant to the applying artist (including subsistence), a EUR 4,000 project budget, host-provided accommodation, travel covered according to EU ceilings, and access to technical facilities and media labs; a collaborating artist receives an additional EUR 2,000 (EUR 6,000 total for a duo). Residencies take place at one of 15 host institutions across Austria, France, Slovakia, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Latvia, Germany and Poland. ELIGIBILITY: applicants must be EU residents or taxpayers in an EU member state, or residents/taxpayers of one of the eligible non-EU countries (Netherlands-based artists qualify). Undergraduate and Master's students are not eligible; PhD candidates and emerging artists of any age and academic background may apply. IMPORTANT: applicants must apply as a duo or collective, or propose a collaborative project, rather than as a purely solo applicant. La Scam's Brouillon d'un reve Sonore category funds documentary, educational or informational audio works for radio or podcast: reportage, narrative, portrait, chronicle, interview and testimony. WHAT YOU GET: a development bourse of EUR 2,500 to EUR 6,000, paid directly to the author 4 to 5 weeks after contract signing. ELIGIBILITY: explicitly no age, residence or nationality restrictions, and open to non-members, though the application process and repertoire are in French. RULES: one application per year across all Brouillon d'un reve categories; the same project may be submitted at most twice; past laureates must wait three years before reapplying. The fund leans documentary rather than experimental radio art, but it is a solidly current cash fund for radio and podcast authorship.
